Blue Thistle is a premium daycare located 5 minutes outside of downtown Huntsville, Ontario. The company was created by Sheridan Francis, a certified dog trainer with a life long passion for dogs.
Our mission is to provide quality care that enriches and improves the lives of dogs and their owners.

We prioritize vetted, small groups of carefully monitored dogs with responsible staff-to-dog ratios. By splitting our dogs into separate groups based on play style, personality, and overall compatibility to help foster intimate dog-to-dog relationships, we ensure that all dogs get the space to play that they need.

Support your dog by giving them a structured day-to-day schedule that helps promote and manage appropriate behaviours through positive training methods.

Your pup will have access to both fully enclosed indoor and outdoor spaces when they spend their day with us. With loads of enrichment, toys, training games, and a group of new friends to socialize with, your dog will have hours of play coupled with some much needed down time to ensure they come home to you happy and healthy.

The Importance of Rest and Relaxation
Did you know the average dog needs 12-16 hours of rest per day? During their time at Blue Thistle, each dog has their own private enclosure to retreat to between group play sessions!
